Annoyance-Free Real Player

Friday 13th February 2004 | by chris [mail] | Categories: IT

If you are like me you avoid Real(tm) software like the plague. It has a very bad habit of re-activating the nags and advertising that you disbable.

The BBC has come to the rescue. As a non commercial organisation they are not allowed to carry advertising, however they use Real(tm) formats for their audio and video. To comply with the BBC's charter Real have provided adware/nagware free versions of their media player to BBC which can be downloaded from here.
